The International class can find their internships wherever they like - it is your own responsibility to do so. I would recommend speaking to some places in person before you start the course so they know who you are - it's much easier than doing everything through email. It is unlikely that you will be paid for your internships as you will be unqualified and usually supervised the while time.

I would start looking for accommodation as soon as you know you are definitely doing the course. It can be competitive in Enschede, and leaving it until the last minute can be stressful.
