Erasmus+ App

July 4, 2018, 12:34 p.m.

Last year the Erasmus+ Programme completed 30 years. Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe and you can find great opportunities via their website.

Recently they launched a new app that can make your Erasmus+ experience easier – and it’s available for both Android and iOS .

My Review of the Erasmus+ App

I had a quick look at the app. The promised features are quite interesting (signing learning agreement online, learning languages online, getting tips, etc).

However, there are some points that are still unclear:

  • Does a student get to sign the learning agreement and get in contact with the international office of his/her university in any case via the app, or just in case the home university is involved in the app?
  • The app promises to make students learn a new language, but the at the moment it is pretty basic and with no interactive features. I can imagine this to be a future step in the development – for the time being I use Duolingo to practice Dutch 🤗 If you’re want to improve or learn Dutch, you can also start courses in different levels at Saxion Language Center :

On the other hand, useful tips are provided to exchange students, so it’s a great idea to download the app and check the features yourself.

Erasmus+ App

Are you coming to Saxion as an exchange student soon ? Download the Erasmus+ App and let me know what you think 🤗 You can also leave your questions here on 👍🏼
