Hello Summera,

Cool that after 10 years of working you are considering to follow a master! :)

These are the official requirements for joining the programme:

"Admission to the Applied Nanotechnology Master's programme is conditional on having a Bachelor’s degree in a suitable Engineering or Life Science subject (e.g. Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.). Experience in the execution of projects is key, but in addition, students must demonstrate that they have the motivation and determination to successfully complete the programme. Students must have adequate English-language skills."

I would view botany as being a study with biology-focus and also life-science related.

Considering the high demand for nanotechnologists, I think that you have good chances in being admitted for this study.

You can find more information (for example on the course content) on our website: https://www.saxion.nl/opleidingen/en/fulltime/master/master-applied-nanotechnology

If you have any other questions (study related or life in Netherlands related) feel free to ask.

Greetings,

Leon :)
